Safe custody
Your UnitPlus portfolio is legally considered a special fund. The money you invest is yours at all times – and yours alone. This means that your money is protected even in the event of UnitPlus or Aion Bank becoming insolvent.
Reliable banking partner
Your UnitPlus account is managed for you by our strong banking partner, Aion Bank. Aion Bank is a fully licensed, state-of-the-art European bank, with all the usual banking regulations, which is supervised in Germany by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).
Deposit guarantee scheme
Every bank in the EU is covered by the deposit guarantee scheme. This protection refunds your money, if it has not yet been traded and booked in your securities account, up to a sum of 100,000€.
Investor Compensation Act
In the unlikely event that Aion Bank, as a financial institution, should actually become insolvent, the Investor Compensation Act will also apply to your securities that are still being traded. Here, your investments in trade are protected up to 20,000€.
