Your UnitPlus securities account is held securely with our strong partner, Finax. Finax is supervised in Germany by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). In addition, private individuals can benefit from the UnitPlus card, issued by Aion Bank — a fully licensed bank operating in partnership with Mastercard. The card is powered by UnitPlus technology.

All investments made through UnitPlus and UnitPlus Business are legally classified as segregated assets. This means the invested capital always belongs solely to the investor – and no one else. Even in the unlikely event of a bankruptcy of a partner bank or UnitPlus itself, your assets remain fully protected at all times.

Every bank within the EU is part of the official deposit protection scheme. This system guarantees reimbursement of your funds – up to €100,000 – if they haven’t yet been traded or booked into your securities account.

Our systems communicate seamlessly, using the highest standards for data exchange between banks and our platform: the SX2A interfaces, in line with the EU’s Payment Services Directive II (PSD2).

With the UnitPlus card, you can access your portfolio anytime. You can also partially or fully withdraw your investments to your chosen reference account directly within the app — completely free of charge.

We value transparency not only when it comes to fees, but also throughout the entire customer journey — from sign-up to cancellation. You can close your UnitPlus account at any time, directly in the app, with no hidden costs or complications.
